How Can I Win?

 

The promotion is exclusive to Mykonos Casino Rewards cardholders.

Mykonos Casino Rewards cardholders must play slots or tables with their Mykonos Casino Rewards cards and earn 500 points per ticket entry, between the period 25 September and 27 October 2023.

500 points are scheduled for all cardholders (all TIER).

Mykonos Casino Rewards cardholders must activate their draw tickets from 20 until 27 October at the eHost or via the Tsogo Sun Mobile App (ticket printing will stop at 19h00 and 20h00 on 27 October at the eHost).

The live draws will take place on 27 October at 19h00 and 20h00 and at each draw time, 4 winners will be selected via the electronic draw selector.

The CASH SPLASH live draws will take place on Friday, 27 October and the electronic draw selector process will be used.

4 winners will be selected at the 19h00 draw and 4 winners at the 20h00 draw, via the electronic draw selector.

Participants may have more than one ticket but can only win once on 27 October.

These draws are compulsory for Mykonos Casino Rewards cardholders to attend.

A total of R70 000 in Cash is up for grabs for the promotional period. At the 19h00 and 20h00 draws, the first selected winner, via the electronic draw selector, will receive the lowest prize and the 4th selected winner the highest prize.

  1. No person under the age of 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in the CASH SPLASH.
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into the category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion.
  3. This promotion, CASH SPLASH, is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  4. This promotion, CASH SPLASH, will be exclusive to Mykonos Casino Rewards cardholders and will run from 25 September until 27 October 2023.
  5. Mykonos Casino Rewards cardholders earn points by playing slots or tables using their Mykonos Casino Rewards card.
  6. To qualify for a draw ticket, Mykonos Casino Rewards cardholders must earn 500 points per ticket entry from 25 September until 27 October 2023.
  7. Mykonos Casino Rewards cardholders will have the opportunity to activate their draw tickets at the eHost or via the Tsogo Sun Mobile App from 20 October until 27 October 2023.
  8. Draw entries cannot be purchased through cash, points, or any other form of consideration. Tickets will be issued based on points earned on slots or tables during the promotion earning period.
  9. The live draws will take place on 27 October at 19h00 and 20h00. A total of 8 winners will be selected on the draw evening. A total of 4 winners will be chosen at the 19h00 draw and 4 winners at the 20h00 draw, via the electronic draw selector. A marketing representative, with an independent auditor, will be present, to oversee the drawing process.
  10. The first drawn ticket selected by the electronic draw selector will receive the lowest prize and the 4th selected winner the highest amount at both draws times of 19h00 and 20h00.
  11. Participants may be drawn more than once but can only win once on 27 October. A re-draw will take place if a winner is selected more than once at both the 19h00 and 20h00 draw.
  12. All Participants are required to be present on the respective dates/times to be eligible for a Prize: Provided that if a participant elects not to be present in person when the winner/s are announced, the participant may nominate another person who has been duly authorized in writing to attend the draw on behalf of a participant in the form and manner determined by management, the details of which will be available at the Customer Services Desk.
  13. Participants or duly authorized representatives shall be required to present themselves within 90 seconds from the time of announcement and must produce a valid ticket entry (possession of evidence of the winning receipt) and positive and acceptable form of identification i.e., South African I.D./valid South African Driver’s Licence, Mykonos Rewards card or passport or other official form of identification as approved by the casino. A redraw will occur should participants not present themselves within 90 seconds or if their identity cannot be verified, which means that they will not be eligible for a prize and a re-draw will occur.
  14. Authorized representatives of a participant shall not be entitled to any prizes and shall not take receipt of prizes accruing to the Participants they represent.
  15. It is the Mykonos Casino Rewards cardholder’s responsibility to ensure that Mykonos Casino has up to date contact details on the Gamesmart system and winners will be required to produce a positive and acceptable form of identification when they collect their winnings.
  16. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management. The Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be notified of any changes.
  17. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged.
  18. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
  19. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
  20. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  21. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
  22. Any complaints and/or disputes can be lodged with the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board.
