- The BIRTHDAY TRIVIA CHALLENGE FACEBOOK COMPETITION is running from 1 November until 24 November 2024 and the winner will be announced on 25 November 2024.
- No person under the age of 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in the BIRTHDAY TRIVIA CHALLENGE FACEBOOK COMPETITION.
- Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who fall into the category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this competition.
- The BIRTHDAY TRIVIA CHALLENGE FACEBOOK COMPETITION is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
- Participants may enter the competition by accessing the casino’s social media pages directly. Participants must answer 3 Trivia questions by visiting the Mykonos Casino website page at www.mykonoscasino.co.za.
- The competition closes on 24 November at 24h00.
- 1 winner will be randomly selected by the Promotions and Events Co-ordinator, marketing department on 25 November at 11h00 using a random number generator.
The Prizes for the winner will include the following:
- Accommodation for 2 people, for 2 nights at the Club Mykonos Resort.
- Including Breakfast, for 2 people, for 2 days at Café Vigour restaurant at Mykonos Casino.
- If the winner downloaded and registered on the Tsogo Sun Mobile App they will receive a R500 in +play extra.
- The prize will also include a multiplier to enhance the total value, making it even more rewarding for the winner.
- The 2x multiplier will only be activated on the first night’s stay, from 18:00 until 21:00
- Over R7000 in Prizes up for grabs for the winner.
- The winner does not need to be present and will be contacted via social media direct message on the day the winner is announced.
- A social media post on Mykonos Casino Social page will also be published on the day of the selection and the winner will also be contacted telephonically if number is provided.
- Every participant in the competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
- All reasonable steps shall be taken to contact the prize winner via social media.
- If the winner declines the prize, a new winner will be selected.
- The winner is requested to acknowledge receipt of the notification within 48 hours of the notification.
- The winner will have until 15 May 2025 from the time of notification to sign the Acknowledgement of prize received at the Tsogo Rewards Desk at Mykonos Casino, within operational hours, and must present an acceptable form of identification upon receiving his/her prize. The winners needs to inform Mykonos Casino on the date they want to stay at Club Mykonos for us to make the booking.
- The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- The Accommodation prize excludes public holidays, school holidays, and special days and is subject to availability and ONLY for two people, for two days.
- The Accommodation prize is only available from 16 January until 16 May 2025 (4 month period).
- The Accommodation prize is for two people only, for two nights, between Monday until Sunday at the Club Mykonos resort and the prize is not transferable.
- The Accommodation prize excludes transport from and to the venue.
- The Accommodation prize includes breakfast for 2 people, for 2 days at Café Vigour at Mykonos Casino. This Accommodation prize, excludes any other meals.
- In the event of technical failure or damage to the device or online system used for the competition draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed.
- All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
- Neither Tsogo Sun Casino Management Company (PTY) Limited, its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, their Directors, Officers, employees or agents shall be liable for any loss, damage, injury or death suffered by the prize winner or any of his/her invitees, as a result of the prize winner having taken up the prize. The prize winner hereby indemnifies and holds harmless the Tsogo Sun Casino Management Company for any such loss, damage, injury or death.
- Any person transgressing the rules of this competition will be disqualified.
- The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
