Birthday Celebrations Prizes

1. No Person under 18 is allowed to gamble or take part in this promotion.

2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into the category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from taking part in this promotion.

3. This promotion, Birthday Celebrations, is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.

4. Entries cannot be bought for cash or through any other form of consideration, other than points.

5. Mykonos Rewards Programme cardholders (slot machine players) on the entire casino floor, will be eligible to take part in the Birthday Celebrations promotion between 11h30 and 16h00 on Tuesdays and stand a chance to be selected via the Bonus Selector (Gamesmart Bonus Selector). Every 30 minutes from 11h30 until 16h00, on the draw days of 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 November 2022, one winner (lucky machine number) will be selected via the Gamesmart Bonus Selector. A total of 10 winners per draw date will be selected. The winning machine numbers will be announced on the microphone by the Marketing representative.

6. Winners will be randomly decided in the following manner: The Gamesmart Bonus Selector is extracted for the entire floor. This will ensure that only active machines are selected.

7. The first machine on the list each time, will be the relevant winner and will get the opportunity to pick one prize out of a balloon per draw date (patrons are not allowed a look into the balloon and prizes are not transferable). A balloon can only be picked once a day.

8. After the patron picks a balloon, he/she will be presented with two cards – one with the wording ‘Spin The Wheel’ and the other card ‘No Spinning Of Wheel’. If the patrons pick the ‘Spin The Wheel’ card, he/she will have the opportunity to spin the wheel for an extra Food & Beverage prize to be won. There are 6 different Food and Beverage prizes on the spinning wheel.

9. The FreePlay or cash prize voucher will be given to the patron at the winning machine by the Promotions & Events Coordinator or Marketing host, with security present. The patron will sign for the receipt of the prize at the winning machine and sign all paperwork (acknowledgement of prize received and promotional consent form).

10. In the event that a selected winner does not want to participate, then they will be disqualified and the second person on the list will be the winner.

11. As per Management discretion, participants are entitled to only one prize per draw date.

12. All prize winners need to show a valid form of Identification i.e., South African ID, Valid Driver’s Licence, Mykonos Membership card or Passport.

13. The prize winner must claim the prize at Mykonos Casino, within 15 days of the draw.

14. All decisions of Mykonos Casino will be final, and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered.

15. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.

16. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for this promotion offer, irrespective of the cause for the technical failure or damage, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of management. The Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed of any such changes.

17. Every participant in the promotion shall be considered to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.

18. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.

20. Any complaints and/or disputes can be lodged with the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board.

21. In the case that the Covid regulations are changed, we will notify the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board that the promotion will change accordingly.
